At EKO, every student is supported by mentors who teach, guide, and inspire

Meet the mentors behind EKO's impact.

Our educators inspire a love for learning and provide emotional support for students to thrive

EKO’s teachers & tutors forge genuine connections with their students

Beyond imparting knowledge, these educators take the time to understand each student’s unique perspectives, strengths, and challenges. That’s how we build the trust and mutual respect that make true learning possible.

Teachers who are immigrants possess a unique ability to inspire and uplift new immigrant students as they embark on their journeys

Drawing from their own experiences, these educators truly understand the challenges and triumphs of adapting to a new culture and language. By fostering empathy and support, they empower students to navigate their new surroundings with confidence, fostering a sense of belonging and igniting the flames of ambition.

Meet our teachers

My experience in EKO

Inspired by the unwavering dedication of her ESL teacher, Elizabeth’s journey came full circle as she paid forward the transformative impact she had received. Driven to make a similar difference, she embarked on her path as an educator. Elizabeth’s commitment to teaching honors her teacher’s legacy and continues the cycle of empowerment for a new generation of learners.
