SUMMER PROGRAM
Level Up! academic summer program
A seven-week summer program for elementary and middle school students. This remedial program is designed to help elementary school students and students transitioning to middle school practice basic math and English skills in a fun/camp-type environment.
Students work for seven weeks, four days a week, for 2 hours in the morning, with tutors who are high school seniors and college students and volunteers who are high school freshmen to juniors. The academic activities are mixed with physical activity and snack time. Groups are of a maximum of 20 students. Students enjoy an afternoon summer camp at the Springfield Community Swimming Pool through our partnership with the Summit YMCA. On average, 20 students participate in this program each year.

Soccer Clinic
Enrolled students meet at Memorial Field Park, Summit, NJ, to acquire fundamental soccer skills. This program is designed to impart technical expertise and cultivate teamwork abilities, fostering an environment of enjoyment and camaraderie. The mentors who oversee and guide the participants are high school students who hold positions on their respective school's soccer varsity teams.

Summer Booster
A four-week, twice-a-week summer program run by a Summit High School teacher. High school students with special needs meet at the Summit Public Library to practice math and then do the summer reading in groups during a picnic at Summit Parks. This program is attended by ten students on average each year.
